The Challenge

Spray Buzz Off had a working website, but it wasn't working hard enough. The old design didn't communicate what made them different: 100% plant-based pest control, safe for kids and pets, no contracts, family-owned and operated in the Inland Empire.

Their service was exceptional, but the brand didn't match. Visitors couldn't immediately see why Buzz Off was different from every other pest control company spraying synthetic chemicals.

The product was already better. The brand just needed to say it louder.

Our Approach

This wasn't just a website redesign - it was a full brand overhaul. We rebuilt the visual identity around their core differentiator: non-toxic, plant-based pest control that families can trust.

Every section was designed to answer the same question: "Why should I trust you around my kids and pets?" The comparison tables, ingredient transparency, FIFRA 25(b) certification callouts, and family story all serve that single purpose.

We built a booking funnel that reduces friction at every step. Service cards flip to reveal details. Pricing is transparent. The booking form collects just enough info to get a tech dispatched, nothing more.

The Problem with Pest Control Branding

Most pest control companies look the same: stock photos of bugs, generic green and white color schemes, and vague promises. Buzz Off needed to stand apart by leaning into what actually makes them different.

We built the entire visual identity around the "Non-Toxic Era" positioning. Dark, bold hero sections contrast with warm cream tones. The family photos are real. The ingredient lists are upfront. Nothing is hidden.

The Booking Funnel

We placed booking CTAs at every natural decision point. After the hero, after services, after the comparison table, after testimonials. The booking form collects name, phone, address, and service type - just enough to dispatch a tech.

On mobile, the "Book Now" button is persistent in the navigation. One tap, fill out basics, done. No account creation, no long questionnaires.

The Strategy

Buzz Off serves 12 cities across the Inland Empire and San Gabriel Valley. We built location-specific content for each service area, with unique schema markup, meta descriptions, and service availability per city.

The scrolling location carousel on the homepage reinforces geographic coverage while the structured data tells Google exactly where they operate.
